Nodame's entire debut performance was so full of tension because of her conflict with Chiaki. From a storytelling perspective it's brilliant, because you would've expected Nodame's first performance to be... not quite so complicated. But as a Nodame-Chiaki fan, it's breaking my heart ; D; Yeah, especially since the ending to the latest chapter was so… dubious/foreboding.
